Sarah George is the Department Administrator at Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP). She oversees all administrative operations for the department including financial management, research administration, human resources, and information technology. Sarah also manages HFRP’s Communications team and she contributes in strategic planning. In addition, she serves as a liaison to other departments within Harvard.
Prior to joining HFRP, Sarah served as a Projects Manager/Epidemiologist in a healthcare setting. She oversaw the daily operations of a research unit and managed several on-going Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) studies that focused on environmental and genetic factors involved in the development and/or progression of the disease. In addition to her administrative duties, Sarah researched AMD and contributed as an author on several published articles on AMD.
Sarah received her Masters of Public Heath in Social & Behavioral Sciences and Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health and her B.A. in Psychology from the
